This past weekend I spoke with Dave Nabity on pressing issues facing the University and my plan for its future. The stakes are high and this next generation of Regents are going to be making big decisions ahead on how to create a more sustainable and prosperous University Nebraska.

"When I talked to voters, they ask, "Why should I care?" An example I share is that one of the most amazing clinical trials that helps stave off pancreatic cancer. That's the things helping to keep Ben Sasse alive and that trial is happening right here at the University of Nebraska. These are the things that our University is a part of and that's why I remain bullish about the University of Nebraska's future. That's why leadership matters."
