I shared with Dan why I’m running for Regent. It’s personal to me. The University of Nebraska needs nuanced leadership to solve complex challenges facing higher education in Nebraska. From budget pressures to brain drain concerns, preparing for an AI-driven economy and demonstrating the University’s value to our lawmakers, it’s not just about the big ideas. We need individuals who can lay out a path forward for solving them.
I’ve worked in our state’s Governor’s office, the United States Senate, and the White House. I’m a Regent candidate who has drafted bills, lobbied state senators, and established relationships with our congressional delegation. These are experiences and relationships that matter for achieving the University's goals. We can do better, and it starts with leadership.
